| So, my server is dead. Or if not dead, at least very quiet. My guild has gone from being uber active (like raiding every night kind of crazy active), to having only me on most of the time. I'm sad. :( And I'm not entirely sure what happened, as everyone was all excited about 1.2 and now...everyone's gone.
Is anyone else seeing the same thing? What are your plans? Do we believe the hype that the game is dead? (I find that hard to believe with 1.3 MM subscribers...)
(I'm personally hoping that there are server mergers in the near future as I have to think that merging 2 or 3 servers together would get activity up, and convince the remaining people to play more. In the mean time, I'm leveling all my alts. I have a lot of them, so it's good. But it would be nice to have more people around for heroics and stuff.)

| I hope this is ok. Mods if not, let me know and I'll delete it forthwith. I'm probably like the last person on (enter the name of your planet here) earth to see this, but I thought I'd share anyway. Besides being a kick-ass song, I thought the vidder did a fantastic job matching the action with the music. Hope you all enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViavxtT7Lpo | |

| Dear Joles of Lord Adraas:
Wow. My very first report in TOR. I suppose the fact that it took this long given modern gaming environment says something!
Seriously, dude, whatever compelled you to send me a tell informing my very cute level 2 twi'lek me that I'm a "nube", that my character is ugly, and that I should recreate? I mean, really? And then telling me to "f u"? Please, go back to whatever hole you crawled out from. I'm sure it's missing your presence.
The real hilarious thing, though, before I managed to find the ignore command? Dude, it's May. The game has been out since mid December. Having a level 27 juggernaut does not make you "pro", nor does it make you worthy of declaring a random player a "nube" (who the fuck even spells it like that anyway?).
No love and may your Sith lightning backfire in your sleep, Kynx (who was totally thinking the nasty comment was an anal retentive RPer annoyed about her name until the "level 27 juggernaut" thing came out...) - Mood:annoyed

| If I've never done an operation before, do I have to do it on story mode before I can progress to HM (a la Taral V/Boarding Party) or can I go straight to HMs? | |
|
| So, I've come to the horrible/delightful conclusion that the good romances in TOR bore me to death. I want the crazy and the drama, and have no problem playing either gender to get it.
So I come to you, wonderful ladies of TOR, to ask - what are the worst romances in the game? Which ones are going to have me wondering why my character did that, while yelling at the screen, begging him or her to stop before things get even worse? I know they exist...(Tharan and Nadia come to mind...and I believe I actually did scream at the screen when dealing with Hunter once.)

| A guildie and I spent most of the day yesterday doing the Black Hole dalies. Yes, I did write most of the day. Like four hours. Just the two of us. He's some type of hybrid merc, and I'm a healing operative. We were persistent, and determined. We talked about strategy over vent, changed up our companions and yes we did use our CC, but we just could not get past that second wave. Part of the issue being ops have to be in stealth in order to hit the mobs with their sleep dart. Obviously we need another person to get it done. It was just so disappointing to have come so far and not get the thing done. Other than that, I liked the credits we earned. Even though most of it was spent in repair bills.
How is everyone else liking the new dailies so far?

| So, who else rushed off to Tattooine as soon as they heard the planet was quarantined yesterday? My guild made it our very first guild event, but no screen shots were taken, lol. We had eleven people on ranging from levels 25 - 50 and it was a blast.
It started out as one person saying there was an important news update on Fleet news and we all sort of straggled over to Tattooine. Then we were going to join a group to help kill a world boss, but we never quite made it that way. Next up was pvp-ing as an option, and we did kill a few Republic folks who were unfortunate enough to be flagged and in our path, but that didn't really pan out either.
Finally someone looked it up on the internet and figured out where we needed to be to get the quest chain started and off we went. I think of it as cat herding at it's finest, lol. We all got the quests done, but never did get a shot at a world boss or pvp, but fun was had by all anyway.
We wrapped up our time on Tattooine doing a datacron run for those who needed them including the two on the broken down walker way out in the Dune Sea. Did anyone else know that snipers could blast you up on those things so you don't have to wait for the balloon?
So, who else participated yesterday, and what did you think?
